A conversation

I was talking with Paul about the importance to learn Mandarin. I exclaimed that in less than two generations, Mandarin will be outgrown English becoming one of most commonly used languages in the world. Just like English today, people who wish to find a good job will have to be proficient in Mandarin.

Paul was a bit skeptical, "But, Mum, you are fluent in both Mandarin and English, how come you don't have a job?"

I quickly picked up myself from momentarily speechless.

"I had a very good job where I met your father, and then having a bunch of you! Now I am doing a far more important job ---that is to train your guys up!"
