Taliban Claims to have Killed One of the Korean Christian Hostages

Despite accusations that the Koreans were on an evangelistic mission, [the] South Korean president...as well as the senior pastor of the hostages' home church...emphasized that the volunteers were there to provide free medical or educational services with no missionary intentions." –Christian Post

This is an urgent situation for our Korean brothers and sisters held hostage by the Taliban, not to mention their families. Please continue to pray, saints! As the world is watching, may these captors experience the power and presence of God in a miraculous way that turns their hearts to the LORD! –Aimee Herd, BCN.

Afghanistan—Although information coming from spokesmen for the Taliban in Afghanistan, where 23 Korean Christian hostages are being held, may not be entirely accurate, the terrorist group has apparently lost some of their patience with negotiations, and has reportedly followed through on their threat to kill a hostage. "Since Kabul's administration did not listen to our demand and did not free our prisoners, the Taliban, shot dead a male Korean hostage," the alleged Taliban media rep, Qari Yousef Ahmadi, told Reuters news service by phone on Wednesday, according to a report by the "Christian Post." Though the hostages were accused of having an "evangelistic" agenda, Eric Young—Christian Post correspondent—says, "Despite accusations that the Koreans were on an evangelistic mission, South Korean president Roh Moo-hyun, as well as the senior pastor of the hostages' home church, the Rev. Park Eun-jo, emphasized that the volunteers were there to provide free medical or educational services with no missionary intentions"

Let us pray for God's intervene to save all the hostage and For his mercy towards Taliban.
