The sweet temptation

My children love chocolate. So does my husband and I. I love Milk chocolate, while my husband loves dark ones. However, we don't want to let our children eat too much for good reasons. So we set up some "sweet" days, for these sweet temptations. It is usually on Sunday. After morning church service, we will have a family lunch together, after meal the sweet time is the happiest moment for All of us. Children are very easy to be pleased. A little sweet, a bar of chocolate, a gentle word and smile, or kind pat will drive their dark clouds away.
When my eldest boy was about two, he tasted chocolate for the first time, for I was determined that he should not be given ANY sweets at all in first two years. (I read this suggestion from a well-known parenting book and believed in it, for goodness sakes). He was so fascinating, I can still remember his delighted smile and turned to me "more?"
I wasn't so strict for the rest of children. As much as I concern of their teeth, I don't want to deprive them from the joy to taste those delicious sweet temptation. My children just love it. Till now, Sunday is still one of the happiest memories in their heart, and I just think why not?
