Moving house

We are going to move house on Thursday, leaving the home of eight years, -Horizon Tower.

This is second time that we have moved since our marriage. When we first married, my mother in law was very thoughtful to let us stay at Grangeford, a two bed room flat. We stayed there for three years till our second child was born. Then mum graciously let us stay at Horizon Tower, a four bed room flat. Had not because of the En bloc fever last year, we would have stayed for many more years in Horizon Tower.

Children will miss their friends, whom they play with every afternoon, and kittens at road side; I will miss my wonderful kitchen. Before we moved into Horizon Tower, we did only two renovations, the kitchen and master bedroom.

It is a beautiful kitchen, my husband said, to give a wife a good kitchen, so she can make the better dishes. I really have learnt a lot of cutlery skills, such as baking, making bread, and curries ...

I remembered when I first learnt to make bread, it turned out either too hard or too soft, my hubby asked, when can we have our normal bread?

Now, the children will be happy calling "can I have one slice?" when the bread is just out of oven.

We also have some wonderful neighbours, once my three children were so eager to go to swimming that they went down first without waiting for me. A lady in the pool was so alarmed to see these children without adult's company. She decided to keep eyes on them. When I came down some 10 mins later, she gave me a good deal of scolding. Now we are good friends. The neighbours who care for you are the best ones you can have.

The En bloc of Horizon Tower had so much stress and contention. Though many were not happy with the first sales committee, the residents in Horizon Tower came to know each other better, there were kind of warm feeling and understanding among us. I am sure if the judgment of Horizon Tower is to reject the sales, Horizon Tower would become a better neighbourhood.

Now, all the things are packed into box, and the moving company is coming in two days time. We pray our new home will be home that the Lord protects and loves. May the love of God be with us. and you too.
