This is our third year of homeschooling. Well, for my two older ones, it was. We decided to send them back to school in the beginning of this year.
Why? We did have a great time together and we learnt a lot of things together.
Laterly we were facing some issues:
1. Grandparents had strong objections.
2. The circumstance requires me to away from home often recently.
3. I did find it not easy to manage school with four children; the younger two were most or less neglected.
My husband and I discussed it and felt we should send our two older children back school. It is clear in the Bible that we shall honour our parents, not we shall homeschool. My two children now enjoy school. Prisca simply loves school. Paul doesn’t mind either way. But he says, if go to school will make grandma happy, he will do so. Very thoughtful boy he is. Three years homeschooling is better than nothing. Now my children have an opportunity to learn to adjust at different learning setting.
Deep down there, I still could wish to home school all of them. I understand my personal limitation in teaching and being a good model to my children, also I know that I will not be able to be with them all the time, God alone shall be their trust utilmately.
